The Certificate course on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (AST) and Interpretation will be starting on January 15, 2024. This course is a completely online, 12 week, asynchronous, mentored, discussion based course to provide students with an understanding of the core principles of AST and its interpretation
Each week 1-2 thought provoking questions will be posted on the learning management system discussion board which will be monitored and guided by a lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) who is currently practising in the field of microbiology. https://polqm.med.ubc.ca/ast/
Students will interact with a different faculty lead/subject matter expert for each module of the course, and work through the curriculum together on a weekly basis.
