Continuing Education Credits

These organizations will grant Continuing Education Credits to their members who successfully complete this course and receive proof of Certification:

Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science

The LQM course was  approved for 222 PEP hours and 13.3 CPS/ART credits

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Maintenance of Certification(MOC)

The University of British Columbia Division of Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to provide study credits for continuing medical education for physicians.  The LQM 2021 has been approved by the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development.  This course is an Accredited Group Learning Activity eligible for up to 10.0 MOC Section 1 credits as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Each physician should claim only those credits he/she actually spent in the activity.

American Society for Clinical Pathology

The LQM course meets the criteria described under Guidelines for Earning CMP Points.

The course qualifies for  222 contact hours and has been assigned 13.3 credits by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science

Participants wanting to claim ASCP CMP (Credential Maintenance Program) points will be provided with a letter confirming the contact hours and credits in addition to the Certificate of completion.
